I’ve created products / services in the past that have garnered praise for their design. I love good design in all forms - copywriting in particular fascinates me. I’ve never called myself a designer.

Oh! On the face! But he got a point. 
And most people go under the hype good ”design” - What you see is just design made visual. A good design always stay behind, do the job, takes no credit. But it makes the users/observers/beneficiaries vouch for it.
